Sie trinken da alle, und man merkt's nicht. Mein Woyte merkte auch nicht, wie viel er getrunken, nämlich, wie hoch er beim Wirt in der Kreide stand; denn er lie es anschreiben." Willibald Alexis (1798-1871) war ein deutscher Schriftsteller, der als Begründer des realistischen historischen Romans in der deutschen Literatur gilt.
