In den ersten Jahren des zweiten Weltkriegs geboren, zog Josef später vom Süden des Landes in den Norden, um dort nicht nur eine andere Landessprache zu lernen. Nach einer weiteren Lehre hatte er grö ere und kleinere Arbeitsstätten im ganzen Bundesgebiet. Nach einer gesundheitlich bedingten Umschulung folgten mehrere interessante ereignisreiche Stationen in Ost und West. Auch in europäischen Krisengebieten 1993-1994 bis hin in den vorderen Orient. Historische Stätten wie die Felsenstadt Petra und Jerash in Jordanien, die älteste bewohnte Stadt Damaskus waren ebenso Stationen im Leben von Josef wie alte historische Stätten im Irak, der Stadt mit der traurigen Berühmtheit Abu Ghraib und der irakischen Hauptstadt Bagdad! Kalifornien als Urlaubsland hat Josef ebenso per Auto vom Süden den Pazifik entlang bis St. Monika und Los Angelos bereist wie Las Vegas in Nevada und den Grand Canyon in Arizona!
