Synopsis "Just My Speed"

A mystery wrapped in a love story? A love story wrapped in a mystery? Yes and yes.Amateur sleuths and professional short-order cooks RJ and Quin witness a murder that the police do not believe had been committed. When a body floats up in a crabbing inlet in Cape May New Jersey, RJ meets the beautiful, green-eyed FBI Special Agent Gabriella Hawthorn. "Is this what love at first sight feels like?" RJ asks.During the subsequent investigation, RJ falls in love with the boat "Just My Speed" owned by the deceased drug dealers and where they possibly stashed drugs and cash.A series of adventures and misadventures follow RJ and Quin as they attempt to unravel several actual murders, several attempted murders and an east coast prescription pill drug ring. Along the way, RJ and green-eyed, Gabi become closer and try to work out their career and geographical differences so that a "me and you" can become a "we". Life and circumstances continue to get in the way. Can they ever make it work? Will RJ ever get his boat? Will they all get out of this alive?
