Synopsis "Katzentango (in German)"

Der junge Iho wächst im sozialen Brennpunkt einer Gro stadt auf. Jugendkriminalität, Gewalt und Drogen bestimmen in diesem Ghetto den Alltag. In einem Keller begegnet der ängstliche Junge einer Gruppe verwahrloster Jugendlicher, die sich bei einem Ritual in einen ohnmachtsähnlichen Trancezustand versetzen. Iho, der sich auf das seltsame Ritual einlässt, verliert dabei das Bewusstsein und liegt mehrere Stunden ohnmächtig auf dem kalten Boden des Kellers. Alleingelassen von der Gruppe. Als er zu sich kommt, hat sich etwas verändert. Er hat sich verändert. Er folgt der Stimme in seinem Kopf und beginnt zu morden. Als Ihos geliebte Mutter an seinem fünfzehnten Geburtstag stirbt, verbringt er noch mehrere Tage mit der Toten in der Wohnung. Der aufkommende Druck der Öffentlichkeit zwingt ihn schlie lich, das Viertel zu verlassen. Zu Fu und ohne Ziel. Nach Tagen und Nächten der Entbehrungen kommt es durch eine geheimnisvolle Katze zu einer schicksalhaften Begegnung mit einem alten Mann, der allein in einem abgelegenen Waldgebiet wohnt.
