La dedicacion a la sabiduria es, para Seneca, la unica manera de vivir con provecho. Mediante su pluma concisa y sus frases afiladas, el filosofo clasico atraviesa los siglos con una sabiduria sin caducidad y nos invita a reevaluar el uso que hacemos del tiempo, este bien tan escaso, asi como a cuestionar nuestro estilo de vida marcado por el ajetreo, la dispersion y la vanidad. No hay razon para que pienses que ha vivido mucho quien muestra canas y arrugas: no ha vivido mucho, sino que ha existido mucho.

Compré este libro con mucha ilusión, pero lamentablemente llegó incompleto. Le faltan varias páginas, lo que interrumpe totalmente la lectura y la experiencia. Es bastante decepcionante, ya que no se puede entender la historia correctamente.

Séneca escribe muy bien y te hace pensar. Un libro de bolsillo (literalmente) que puedes llevar a cualquier parte y consultar sin que te aburras.
