LAST ONE STANDING - MACAYLA DAWN

Fourteen students. Nine nights. Only one left standing. 

"One of you will die tonight." 

These are the words nineteen-year-old Winter Carlisle hears after she wakes in an unknown mansion. Surrounded by twelve strangers and a ghost from her past, she wants nothing more than to go back to her quiet college life-full of journalism classes and boring stories. But as lives are taken one by one, the smell of cheap coffee becomes a distant memory.

Their captor's message is simple: one of them knows something, and the rest won't make it out until they find out who. The remaining survivors search for a way to escape-and the reason why they were chosen. As games are played and secrets are revealed, Winter questions her own deeply buried guilt, and whether the person behind it all might be her. Once, she might have been too scared to ask questions. Now, uncertainty feels like an old friend. 

Fear turns to paranoia, and the group fractures. After all, there can only be one survivor. As strangers go from allies to enemies, they realize the truth might destroy them. But it also might set them free. 

It won't be long before Winter discovers the answer to the question that burns the most:

How far would she go to be the last one standing?
