In an age of constant and far-reaching change, lifelong learning is seen as a social imperative for young people in education and as a labour market challenge for policymakers. The author seeks to navigate the maze of educational reforms to identify what schools need in order to foster a successful start to a lifelong passion for learning and physical activity.
