This collection of limericks by Artist, poet, author and monologist, D. L. De McClung is not the usual bawdy light-hearted romp that limericks are known for. Some may fit that description, to be sure, but others are serious observations and commentary on the human condition. It should be understood by the reader that nothing is sacred and no taboo is honored within these rhymes. Social and political realities are put in perspective, and the mores of a fickle public are exposed for the absurdity they most often are.
