Antonio Rivero Taravillo (Melilla, 1963) ha publicado los libros de poemas Farewell to Poesy (2002), El árbol de la vida (2004), Lejos (2011) y, en esta misma colección, La lluvia (2013).En prosa, es autor de media docena de ensayos y libros de viajes, así como de una biografía en dos tomos de Luis Cernuda (con el primero de los cuales obtuvo el Premio Comillas). En 2014 apareció en Espuela de Plata su novela Los huesos olvidados, que narra –ficción basada en hechos reales– la visita de Octavio Paz a España durante la Guerra CivilEncuadernación: RústicaColección: Calle del Aire.Ha traducido libros de poemas de, entre otros, John Keats (Premio Andaluz a la Traducción Literaria), Alfred Tennyson, Robert Graves, Ezra Pound, Christopher Marlowe, John Milton o Gerard Manley Hopkins, así como la Poesía completa de William Shakespeare y la Poesía reunida de W. B. Yeats, además de antologías de poesía norteamericana, irlandesa medieval y gaélica escocesa. Ha trasladado igualmente libros de Jamie O’Neill, Liam O’Flaherty, Flann O’Brien, Jonathan Swift, Harold Bloom, John Donne y muchos más.En la actualidad dirige la revista Estación Poesía y es columnista del diario El Mundo en su edición de Sevilla, ciudad en la que reside desde la infancia.

Antonio Rivero Taravillo is the author of seven books of poems, three travel books, and several more on essays and criticism. He has translated the most important poets in the English language, such as W. B. Yeats, whose Collected Poems he published with extraordinary success in 2010. A specialist in Irish literature, he has translated numerous books by authors from the island, including the anthology Ancient Irish Poems (2002). His biographies of Cernuda and Cirlot have earned him the Comillas and Antonio Domínguez Ortiz awards, respectively. He has also received the Andalusian Award for Literary Translation Rafael Cansinos Assens and the Seville Book Fair Award. He directs the magazine Estación Poesía. In his novel The Forgotten Bones (2014), published by the same publisher, Rivero Taravillo recreated an episode of the visit of Octavio Paz and Elena Garro to Spain in 1937.
