Synopsis "Marshall's Bluff: Screenplay & Synopsis"

A forgotten cavalry post hasn't seen real trouble in years — which suits the men just fine. Then a stranger rides in claiming to be their new commanding officer, warning of an Indian attack nobody else believes is coming, and turning a sleepy fort upside down with drills, discipline, and dead-serious orders. Major Marshall Horne isn't quite what he seems. Neither is the "attack." As tempers fray, loyalties splinter, and an old flame from Horne's past complicates everything further, one soldier's desperate gamble will decide whether Fort Deception survives the day — and whether anyone believes a word he says once it's over. A comedy-drama western about the last man anyone expected to save a fort, and the bluff of his life — from the unproduced screenplay archive of Verland T Whipple. This edition presents the original screenplay alongside a full plot synopsis.
