Mes dix amis (in French) - Suman Raj Tamrakar

A young girl introduces her "ten friends" - the everyday grooming and hygiene items she uses to get ready each morning. Page by page, each friend arrives in turn: TOOTHBRUSH to keep her teeth white, SCISSORS to trim her hair, SOAP for her bath, TOWEL to dry her, CLOTHES to keep her warm, COMB to tidy her hair, HAT to protect her head in the cold, EAR-BUD for clean ears, NAIL CUTTER for short nails, and finally SHOES to protect her feet. The story closes with her declaring that her ten friends are always there when she needs them, and that she loves them very much.
