She has been awarded the PEN Prize for best book in translation for Iceland and the Guggenheim Fellowship, among other distinctions. In The Unsubmissive Word, a volume published in 2021 by the Directorate of Literature and Reading Promotion of UNAM, a personal selection of her essays on poetry can be found. The Heart of Harm (2021) and The Natural Idea (2024) are her most recent titles.
