In my trilogy Nirvatra, the characters speak their own native language, but as all Natives, throughout the world, it is expressed with the same profound concept. Sometimes modern English has words that take away from the deep connection that we may want to express with our love ones. I love the saying actions are more powerful than words. That's how I see it when Kahlan tells Nalah he loves her. He speaks from his heart, which cannot be denied, he shows it in his actions which cannot be compromised.
