He is an investigative journalist. In 2008, he won, along with journalist Mabel Rehnfeldt from the ABC Color newspaper of Paraguay, the first place in the Latin American Journalism Award, convened by the Press and Society Institute (IPYS) and Transparency International for Latin America and the Caribbean (TILAC). Between 2014 and 2022, he was a finalist in various editions of the National Journalism Awards, in the categories "Written Reportage" and "National Grand Prize for Journalism", organized by the IPYS and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He has been a fellow of the García Márquez Foundation. His reports on organized crime, drug trafficking, military affairs, and corruption have appeared in the Correo newspaper, Correo Semanal magazine, Caretas magazine, and the weekly Hildebrandt in his thirteen, where he now works as a reporter. Nuestros muertos is his first book.
