In dieser Arbeit wird das Potenzial von Antigonon leptopus-Blattpulver für die Biosorption von Mangan-Ionen aus wässrigen Lösungen untersucht. Es wurde festgestellt, dass die Biosorption von Metallionen durch Antigonon leptopus-Blattpulver pH-abhängig ist, wobei die optimale Sorption bei pH≈ 6 für Mn auftritt. Der Biosorptionsmechanismus von Antigonon leptopus-Blattpulver wurde als Biosorption von Metallionen an der Oberfläche der Biosorptionsmittelpartikel identifiziert, was durch den pH-Wert bestätigt wurde. Der Prozess der Metallbiosorption verlief schnell (74 % Biosorption in 60 Minuten für Mn bei einer anfänglichen Metallkonzentration von 20 mg/L. Die Ergebnisse zeigten, dass die Mn-Kinetikdaten erfolgreich mit Modellen erster und zweiter Ordnung beschrieben wurden. Au erdem zeigten isotherme Experimente, dass das Biosorptionsmittel eine hohe Aufnahmekapazität von 17,39 mg/g und Mn nach dem Langmuir-Modell aufweist.Daher ist das besagte Antigonon leptopus-Blattpulver als Biosorptionsmittel für die Biosorption von Mangan-Ionen aus wässrigen Lösungen hochwirksam und kann als das vielseitigste, wirtschaftlichste, praktikabelste und effizienteste Biosorptionsmittel für die Biosorption von Mangan-Ionen aus wässrigen Lösungen angesehen werden.
