Today, improved breed of animals is expected, so it has become necessary that animal breeders can get correct information about important methods of animal breeding such as identification of animal heat at the right time, artificial insemination at the right time, infertility etc. so that they can produce more and increase the number of animals.The number of animals in India is the highest in the world but production is very low compared to the number of animals. The main reason for this is the lack of general knowledge of animal breeding among the cattle keepers, due to which the cattle keepers have to bear financial losses due to the longer time between two calving intervals in the animals due to lack of general knowledge of delay in reaching adulthood, silent estrus period, infertility, problems of artificial insemination, identification of estrus period, pregnant animals and post-calving animal management. General information has been presented in this compilation on how scientific methods should be used by students and cattle keepers for animal breeding management. It is hoped that students, cattle keepers, animal managers and all the people associated with animal husbandry will be able to benefit from the information given here by producing more and more animals as a result of good animal breeding and will be able to contribute in increasing the animal production of the state and the country.
