Carles Alberola (Alcira, 1964) is a prominent Spanish actor, director, and playwright, known for his contributions to contemporary theater and his ability to blend humor and depth in his works. Graduated from the Higher School of Dramatic Art and Dance of Valencia (1983-1986), he began his career as an actor in the 80s, working with various Valencian companies and teaching at Municipal Theater Schools.
In 1994, he founded the company Albena Teatre, where he is the director, establishing himself as a key figure in the Valencian theatrical scene. During his first stage (1989-1999), Alberola premiered 14 comedies, directing thirteen and acting in six, marking the beginning of his artistic versatility. In 1999, with the premiere of Besos, he achieved national success, gaining notable recognition on stages like Madrid and Barcelona.
His talent has been awarded on numerous occasions, notably with the Porrot d'Honor de les Lletres Valencianes de Silla in 2003 for his body of work. In 2018, he expanded his creativity to television as one of the creators of the series Açò és un destarifo, produced by the new Valencian television, À Punt. In addition to being a screenwriter, he took on production and casting of actors and actresses, consolidating his relevance in the audiovisual field.
