Peter Alles erzählt in seinem Reisebericht Nr. 2 über seine Reise nach Australien, wo er seine Tochter besuchte, die sich zu einem einjährigen Work-and-Travel-Aufenthalt in Melbourne befand. Auf der Hinreise besichtigte er auf einem eintägigen Zwischenstopp Dubai und flog dann nach Melbourne weiter, wo er bei zwei Freunden seiner Tochter wohnte. Von dort aus unternahm er auch eine dreitägige Tour zur Great Ocean Road. Zum Abschluss verbrachte er fünf Tage in Sydney.
