Evi, gerade vierundzwanzig geworden, hat vor zwei Monaten, nach sechs unschönen Ehejahren, den Absprung geschafft und sich scheiden lassen. Seitdem verdient sie sich als Tankwartin ihre Brötchen. Jürgen, dem fast einundzwanzigjährigen, frischgebackenen Fernfahrer, ging auf dem Weg zur Arbeit das Benzin bei seinem alten Ford aus. Zum Glück in der Nähe einer Tankstelle. Mit einem Reservekanister bewappnet steuerte er schnellen Schrittes auf die beleuchteten Reklameschilder einer Tankstelle zu. An diesem Morgen befüllte sich nicht nur sein Kanister, nein auch sein Herz wurde angefüllt, mit den seltsamsten Gefühlen. Plötzlich ging ihm sehr oft der Sprit aus, zum Glück schaffte er es jedes Mal gerade bis zu Evis Tankstelle.
