Play stance. A gentle opening, an invitation, an animalistic binding agent allowing power dynamics to loosen, become amusing, at once safer and arrestingly topsy-turvy, a trickster invitation to get lost, together. Play stance can be a comfortable place, a deranging joke or surprise arrangement, a life saving gamble in the face of a potential predator. Dolly Rae Star wrote Play Stance between Summer 2018 and the end of 2020. Another lifetime (or several) of far in, deep out, playful adventures and shifts in experience.
