Most adults expect to see other adults behave intelligently and acceptably, but that doesn't always happen. Playground Personalities contrasts the behaviors you see in children to the things you see in adults. If trauma, rejection, and negative traits are not confronted and resolved correctly, a child will become an adult and have arrested development in emotional intelligence. In the workforce, you will, if you have not already, encounter people who hold positions at all levels behaving like the children and adolescents you met between grade school, middle school, and high school. It is perplexing to understand why they are "stuck" and deal with situations like the children you knew back then, without knowing what they have been through. Playground Personalities teaches us that ministry goes beyond the four walls of the church, and yes, it extends to the workplace. A church is a physical building, but Christians are to be an example of Christ. This means we are to lead people to Christ and help them heal even outside of the church. That is our purpose on this earth. Dorice Woodruff is a Christian who has been in Executive level management for almost two decades. Her desire is to see Jesus Christ represented in healthy workforces that demonstrate their love for people and ethical standards. She is a doctoral student in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University. She achieved a Master's Degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University and a Bachelor's Degree in Management / Human Resources from Park University.
