Synopsis "Rigil: A Recollection Through Him"

Rigil grows up misunderstanding the pictures in his head and mindful movies of his memories. He never tells anyone because everyone seems fine with their thoughts. Through his teenage years, intrusive thoughts jade him until he's invited to the red-walled rooms at his imagination factory. As a boy, confused, and a man, reflecting, it's evident Rigil is tone-deaf to this parallel society's way of thinking. He's brought to America's Port Avantian District because his father has been doing weird things with banks near their village. That relationship, however, is fated by Rigil's ignorance of the family's immigration status. Rigil is a bit naïve about Port Avanti, vaguely explaining how their sun shines sunny side down, and raindrops are kept in the briefcases of those programming mysterious buttons at the top floors of black buildings downtown. All he knows is that this makes groups of people so mad that he almost calls the police when they're throwing temper tantrums from the city center to Chad's tower. But Chad dies of a heart attack while on the phone with their property's insurance company-leaving Rigil to manage Chad's most peculiar building. And through the last seven days in management, Rigil journals this memoir because it wasn't supposed to end this way. He and his friend... they mess up. It's unclear what part of Rigil's life is reality-or if he still misinterprets the pictures in his head. But after Woolly Falls, it's possible Rigil is journaling the experience of something else...
