Synopsis "Run Like the Wind"

Stephanie has a life-long dream of running in the Olympics, one that guides her through the trials of young adulthood. Yet when a tragic accident threatens to take away her ability to run, she must rise from the ashes of despair or succumb to them. Michael has loved Stephanie since the moment they met in kindergarten, though she has always insisted that they be just friends. When a horrifying incident changes the way that Stephanie sees Michael, it turns their relationship on its head. Amaya is Stephanie's best friend who also just happens to be as boy crazy as they come. She has a major crush on Corey. The only problem is that Corey isn't the boyfriend type. When things get serious between them, Corey makes a decision that will devastate Amaya. Corey has always had the chips stacked against him. Loving Amaya is the one good thing he's ever done, except that it terrifies him. After hurting Amaya deeply, he has a decision to make, one that could give them hope for a future or set them on a course that would hurt them both.
