Die dortige Linksregierung habe "Moskau" und dem Kommunismus Tur und Tor geoffnet. Nur der Einmarsch der Reichswehr konnte daher das Reich vor Chaos und Umsturz retten. So die gangige Meinung bisher. Das Buch zeigt, das in Sachsen initiierte linksrepublikanische Projekt wollte keineswegs die Demokratie zerstoren, sondern im Gegenteil: Sie wollte das Weimarer System starken und fortentwickeln.
