Synopsis "Sherlock Holmes Vol 1 - Spanish English Side By Side Dual Language Classics"

Dual language Sherlock Holmes classic stories in spanish and english side by side. Now for the first time ever, students of the spanish language can enjoy the classic stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his ever so popular master detective, Sherlock Holmes. Meant as a suppliment for learning spanish, reading often in spanish will help the student grasp the flow of the language. The side by side text is meant for quick reference to words or phrases unknown to the reader. Instead of needing to stop and lookup words in a dictionary, you can quickly glance across the page for the general meaning in your native tongue so that the flow and enjoyment of the story is uninterrupted. We hope you enjoy Las Aventuras de Sherlock Holmes Volume 1, which include the classic cases: A Scandal in Bohemia; The Red-headed League; A Case of Identity.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Edinburgh, 1859 - Crowborough, United Kingdom, 1930) considered the master of detective literature was a writer and doctor born in Scotland, mainly known for having created the very famous character Sherlock Holmes, the most well-known detective of all times, cyclically adapted for TV and cinema

He studied at the universities of Stonyhurst and Edinburgh, where he graduated in medicine. Between 1882 and 1890, he worked as a doctor in Southsea, England.

To supplement his meager income, he wrote a mystery novel titled A Study in Scarlet, which became the first of sixty-eight stories featuring one of the most famous detectives in literature: Sherlock Holmes.
