Indem das bukkale Wurzelfragment bei der Sofortimplantation bewusst zurückgehalten wird, bleiben das parodontale Ligament und das Knochenbündel erhalten, wodurch die Kammkontur und die Ästhetik des darüber liegenden Weichgewebes erhalten bleiben.
