Synopsis "Sometimes"

This little book serves as a little life helper to get you through hard times. The lead character, a wooden artist's mannequin, goes through some really tough stuff! He steps in gum, loses the race, is filled with sorrow, totally down in the dumps... and the pages go on! Sometimes life is like this. Sometimes our friends disappoint us, sometimes we disappoint ourselves. Sometimes we feel upset, discouraged, hurt or broken. Sometimes it's just really hard. And you know what? That's okay. Because life is full of ups and downs and they're not always in order. Sometimes a lot of bad things happen one after the other, and we just have to do our best to keep on going. Because always, always, always there will be other times. Always. That's the point of this book; to remember that emotions and experiences are temporary, and that other times are always on the horizon. Always. There are other times coming that are so wonderful and amazing, over-the-moon good that you'll forget what a bad day even feels like!
