Synopsis "Spark (Firehouse 516)"

After the events from three years ago, Nova wasn't sure coming back to the station was the best idea, but her calling was stronger than her hesitation. Whatever life has brought to her, she knew her mission was to help people. Denver’s Fire Engine 516 changed as much as she did. Many new faces, and some old ones, but the job is still the same. And the people from Denver don't disappoint, emergencies come left and right. However, one certain individual seems to be the target of a dark cloud, getting in trouble more than the average citizen, and Nova notices. With a rocky start and a rough way, Nova learns how to function in her new reality, pestered by the memories of an old case that keeps haunting her sleep at night. Even more now that her police friend has decided, after all these years, to take a closer look at it again. Something’s gained, something’s lost: hope, courage, trust. Nova knows that. But what she doesn't know, is that sometimes the ones she keeps close to her heart, may not be the best to put her trust into.
