Estalla el golpe militar y, entre otras figuras políticas y militares de la época, Augusto Pinochet decide defender el gobierno de Salvador Allende. La oposición fracasa y, para fortalecer las comunicaciones y los sistemas de vigilancia, surge el innovador proyecto Synco: una red cibernética que dice optimizar el manejo del Estado y la economía chilena. El resultado, aparentemente, es un esquema socialista modelo en cuanto a producción y reivindicación cultural; sin embargo, su funcionamiento esconde una secreta esclavización que mantiene el país funcionando bajo una cortina peligrosa de dilucidar.

Jorge Baradit (Valparaíso, 1969). Author of the novels Ygdrasil, Trinidad, Synco, Kalfukura, Policía del karma and Lluscuma ; and the short story book La guerra interior. To complement his work, he has experimented on different platforms, including radio interventions and narrations on social networks and television. It is in these places where he channeled his interest in the B side of the country's history and those unknown aspects capable of redefining our collective memory: issues that were the seed of the trilogy Historia Secreta de Chile (2015, 2016 and 2017) and its continuation La dictadura (2018) and Héroes (2019), an unprecedented editorial phenomenon in the national market.

Este libro logra de principio a fin mantener el suspenso propio de una serie de Netflix. Si bien es una historia fantastica, creo que al usar la ciudad y personajes conocidos de la historia como elementos de la narrativa, hace que la historia se sienta cercana y ratos parte de la realidad. Entra en duda si será o no verdad lo que se escribió Lo recomiendo de todas maneras, muy facil de leer.
