Mamen Sánchez es una escritora y periodista española nacida en Madrid en 1971. Licenciada en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, completó además estudios de literatura e historia, así como formación en instituciones internacionales como La Sorbona, Oxford y Londres. Desde muy joven estuvo vinculada al mundo del periodismo, ya que pertenece a la familia fundadora de la revista ¡Hola!, donde ha desarrollado gran parte de su carrera profesional y ha ocupado cargos directivos.

Su trayectoria literaria comenzó con la publicación de Gafas de sol para días de lluvia en 2006. Posteriormente consolidó su prestigio como novelista con obras como La felicidad es un té contigo, Agua del limonero, La flor y nata y Costa Azul. Sus historias suelen combinar humor, romance, intriga y personajes femeninos fuertes, características que le han permitido conectar con un amplio público lector.

Reconocida por su estilo cercano y optimista, Mamen Sánchez ha logrado convertirse en una de las autoras más populares de la narrativa contemporánea española.
