Synopsis "The Bus Pass"

When Henry Long finds out that his daughter has had a job offer that means she'll be emigrating to Australia, he knows it is the end of an era. His son is already out there, and as a widower with little family left, both of his children are anxious for him to join them. But he isn't ready to leave quite yet. After some soul searching, he decides that the best way to end his time in the U.K., is used to embark on a farewell trip through England, home of his birth, commencing in the West Country, reliving the romance and adventure of his youth. With bucket list in hand he ventures forth looking for one last travel adventure before accepting his fate with grace. What he does not expect is to fall in love again. He meets Kate in Goderston, on the second leg of his farewell trip, and as their relationship blossoms Henry thinks his soul searching may finally be at an end. But when she inexplicably decides to end their romance, he is left little choice but to once again follow the plan of his bucket list. And there is more bad news on the horizon: Henry's son Richard has upped the schedule for him emigrating to Australia. With time running out, Henry has choice to make, and so does Kate.
