(Mozambique, 1964) He is a journalist for Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP). He has worked at Rádio Macau and the BBC, and has been a permanent contributor to CNN. With two doctorates, obtained in Lisbon and Paris, he has been a professor for twenty-five years at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. As a novelist, he has been awarded with the prizes for the best novel by Bertrand bookstores and the Portal da Literatura, the Prémio Clube Literário do Porto, and the Prix Littéraire de la Lusophonie.
