Margareta Magnusson was born on New Year's Eve in Gothenburg (Göteborg, Sweden) eighty to a hundred years ago. She graduated from Beckman's College of Design in Stockholm. She has worked as an artist all her life and her work has been exhibited in places as remote as Singapore and Hong Kong. She has practiced the Swedish art of death cleaning, which she explains in The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning (Reservoir Books, 2019), many times, for herself and for others.
