Synopsis "The here nor there"

These are the poems that don't fit anywhere else. Not the best. Not the worst. Just... here. This is the middle child of The Colin Collections. The quiet one. The observational one. The one that sits with you without demanding anything in return.Inside you'll find poems about waiting for messages that never come. About the smile from a waitress. About feeling defeated. About the ache of being human. About wanting to tell someone you love them but knowing you can't.Some of these poems will resonate. Some won't. That's the nature of the middle. Not every poem has to be profound. Not every poem has to be funny. Sometimes it just has to be.This is the here nor there of Colin. And honestly? That's okay.Content warning: This collection explores themes of loneliness, longing, and mental health. Please read with care.
