Synopsis "The Last Post"

The Last Post is a historical war novel told from the perspective of three men who fought in three different wars - the Second World War, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The Last Post is a thrilling, thought provoking journey through the Either/Or of Love and War, Good and Evil, and Light and Darkness. In its quest for the immortal in the mundane, the novel reflects the mysteries of the human spirit in all its multiplicity, haunting shadows, and the undefinable darkness from which the story emerges, leaving us to wonder as one of the main characters in the story wonders when he says, "What have we done to deserve this?"
