The Room with the Garden View
Ben Nelson (Author) · Collectivus Publishing · Paperback
God's initial intent is His final decision.
In the beginning, God had a plan. We see this plan beautifully painted in Genesis 1 and 2 through the Garden of Eden. This was God's initial intent, His original and greatest desire. God wanted us to be His people and for Him to be our God.
The Garden created a space to dwell with God, live in communion with others, and depend on the provision that comes from His hand alone. However, in Genesis 3, we see the historic Fall of Man, and sin enters this perfect and beautiful plan. By the end of Genesis 3, there are almost no remnants of God's original design still intact.
So, what actually happened in the Garden? What did that initial sin reveal about the future of God's creation? We no longer see people living in the Genesis 1 and 2 plan. Instead, we find ourselves managing a Genesis 3 life.
How do we get back to a life that resembles God's initial intent?
