Synopsis "The Warrior Within"

There were five of them in tow, seven o'clock high and out of range. Jacob was nearing Allied held territory, the smart thing to do would be to out run them. A lone fighter in the sky was normally easy prey. Outnumbered five to one, no one would question his decision. Then a voice spoke to him, it was Wise Owl, "Go and fight for me as if I was a young man, go and find the Warrior Within." "Why not?" Jacob eased the throttle back on his P-51 Mustang; they were too far back for what he had in mind. Although his heartrate quickened, as adrenaline coursed through his veins, a deadly calm filled him. The age old cry to battle filled his soul; he was a Warrior, born to fight. He looked back at the pursuing aircraft; it looked like they had taken the bait.
