Carol Neumann Bertin es una autora chilena de literatura infantil, educadora y académica dedicada a fomentar la lectura y el desarrollo socioemocional en infancia. Estudió Periodismo y luego Pedagogía en Lenguaje y Comunicación, con formación de posgrado en Educación por el Teachers College, Columbia University y especialización en literatura infantil. Su compromiso con la docencia la llevó a formarse y trabajar en centros educativos, además de capacitar a docentes en Chile y América Latina.

Como escritora, Neumann ha publicado una decena de títulos para niños, caracterizados por un estilo cercano, reflexivo y lúdico. Entre ellos figura Las etiquetas de Amaro (2023), donde aborda la identidad y el impacto del lenguaje sobre la percepción propia, invitando a cuestionar las etiquetaciones externas. Sus obras combinan narrativa accesible, valores de inclusión y estímulo a la imaginación, y han sido adoptadas en escuelas y bibliotecas —un testimonio de su influencia en la literatura infantil contemporánea chilena.

(Santiago de Chile, 1993) Graphic designer and illustrator. She began her journey in the world of illustration in 2017, developing a line of home decor products and personalized illustrations. Soon after, she found her true calling in the wonderful field of children's illustration and, despite her short career, she already has several books published to date.
