1) 0 soucasnem stavu typologie (tiber den gegenwartigen Stand der TYpo- logie), in diesem Band S. 312 ff. 2) Introducere in linguistica de un collectiv sub condurerea acado AI. Graur, Bukarest, 1958, S. 181 - 192. 3) G. Meier, Einfilhrung in die Sprachwissenschaft, Lehrbrief 1, Leipzig 1957, S. 8 - 9 sieht in der TYpologie die Verkorperung der Ideen des deutschen Gelehrten L. Weisgerber und seiner Schule, wonach "jedes Sprachmittel als geistiger Zugriff einer Sprachgemeinschaft auf das Sein zu verstehen sei". Mit einer TYpologie in diesem Sinne konnen wir freilich nicht einverstanden sein. Die TYpologie als Ganzes ver- tritt heute solche Meinungen nicht mehr, m5gen sie von Weisgerber oder (in gemassigter Form) schon von W. V. Humboldt stammen.
