Una historia que trata muy bien temáticas como la violencia intrafamiliar, en especial hacia la mujer, el duelo, la superación y sanación luego de vivencias traumáticas. Aunque las escenas de mayor suspenso ocurren hacia el final, el libro me mantuvo atenta en todas sus páginas, con ansias por saber qué más ocurriría, cuál era el pasado de Katie, cómo fue la vida de Alex y cómo iba a evolucionar su relación. Me gustó que fuera realista en cuanto a la evolución emocional de ambos personajes y que mostraran la culpa del sobreviviente, por lo que se deja atrás al seguir adelante. El final me dejó helada, fue un giro que no vi venir, ni me imaginé por un instante, pero que dio un broche de oro muy especial a esta historia.
