Hugo A. Riquelme Becerra. Born in Santiago, but lived for thirty years in Antofagasta. Back in the capital, he completed a diploma in youth literature and various writing workshops. He has published eight books, including the novels: Saga of a Lonely Man (2015), The Nights Gone By (2016) and Three Bullets in the Pampa (2018), co-written with Daniel Leal and Michael Rivera. He is also the author of the science fiction novels The Olduvai Window (2020) and Shepherds of Oort (2022). His books have won 1st place, Adult Novel category, at the North Texas Book Festival 2018 in the United States and an honorable mention at the International Latino Book Award.
