Synopsis "Walking Barefoot"

Author Beverly Steerman writes her life story in Walking Barefoot: A Life from Entrapment to Freedom the way the Lord Jesus revealed it to her. Accompanied by an angel, "Pilot," the author revisits her past, which includes such hurtful events as almost abortion, abuse, and the tragic death of her first love, a nineteen-year-old Marine, to new marriage, children, and other struggles in a way that exposes how Satan operates to deceive God's children. She writes to help God's children identify tactics used by the enemy to prevent Christians from living in freedom in Christ. Though written like a favorite fiction novel, this is an autobiographical account of a life filled with hurts and healing. Readers will find takeaways to help them battle their own demons and understand that God wants to rescue them for Himself.
