Miete gestiegen - Bandkasse leer. Was nun? Die prinzipientreue Punkband Die Hitler! (englisch ausgesprochen) lässt sich auf ein einmaliges Booking als Tanzband ein. Leider bleibt es nicht bei diesem einen Mal. Schlimmer noch: Von Event zu Event kratzen die Auftraggeber näher am braunen Rand. Die Band wird schleichend zur angesagtesten Kapelle der rechten Szene. Als der Bandname mutiert, der Proberaumvermieter Bandmanager wird, der Tontechniker der Rolling Stones dazustö t und sich ein brandgefährlicher Provinznazi einmischt, eskaliert die Situation. Und dann ist da auch noch Emily Rössler und jede Menge Eierlikör. Das ganze Durcheinander, das am Ende nicht nur die Band ins dörfliche Exil zwingt, ist nur noch durch eine hochriskante und streng geheime Spezialoperation lösbar. Eine brisante Mischung aus Humor, Spannung, Coming of Age, Freundschaft, Abenteuer und Romeo-und-Julia-Lovestory. Manchmal punkig, stachelig und schnell, manchmal träumerisch und introvertiert. Und manchmal erschreckend nahe an der echten Welt.
