Synopsis "Whiskey"

Darryl Boden, a middle-aged working man left broken in despair after the desertion of his wife Veronica and his two children, struggles to make his way without his family. But when young Honoria Barton crosses his path, his whole world turns upside down as he battles with himself to avoid history repeating itself. As well as the daring age gap looming between the two of them, Honoria has a dark past of her own to overcome as she and Darryl spiral into a deep love with one another. Can Darryl break through to a traumatized young woman and make her see life and love for how beautiful it can really be? Meanwhile, Veronica's jealousy catches up to the pair and soon Honoria finds herself caught between the dysfunctional family crossfire that is the broken Boden family. Darryl must now decide if he will fight to make a new life with his new love while sorting things out with Veronica and his children, or if he will take his wife of fifteen years back and rebuild the crumbled foundation of his marriage and family. In this compelling war of youthful compassion versus long-time familial bonds, a sacrifice must be made and a heart must be broken before everything crumbles away from beneath.
