Synopsis "Wolfsbane "

In the suspenseful thriller novel WolfsBane, two Wildlife Rangers investigate reports concerning rabid wolves in the woods surrounding the tourist town of Sevierville. As graduate students who helped reintroduce red wolves in the region years ago, Cliff and Stan have a vested interest in the health of the species. The two rangers begin their research by tranquilizing a wolf and transporting the animal back to the laboratory where they begin tests to try and uncover the potential threat to the wolf population. Meanwhile, local residents are at the forefront of a horrific epidemic. While on the phone with his estranged wife, who is spending the day in the mountains with their son, Wil hears screaming, and the line suddenly disconnects. David and Jack are enjoying a hike when they are chased by a group of blood-soaked, crazed teenagers bent on devouring them alive. Haley is working at a theme park when pandemonium erupts from the crowd, and she must save herself, and an abandoned child about to be attacked, from the growing mob. Can these people, lost in the middle of a growing crisis, find a way to survive and escape? Or will they succumb to the wolves of hell?
