Synopsis "Ygdrasil (in Spanish)"

En un mundo dominado por la tecnología, en una fecha indeterminada, Mariana —una asesina a sueldo y drogadicta— es obligada por la milicia mexicana a infiltrarse en una peligrosa red de instituciones biológicas, entre ellas Ygdrasil: una red que administra los destinos y la energía de la civilización.
Mariana será obligada a experimentar toda clase de peligros (reales y espirituales) y se enfrentará a los diversos poderes. En esta aventura, Mariana es asistida por Ghunter, un soldado alemán muerto en la Segunda Guerra y, posteriormente, rescatada por Reache, un selknam que representa el sistema inmunológico del cosmos (una fuerza que repara o asiste las amenazas de la realidad).
Baradit inventa en esta obra el concepto de «ciberchamanismo», una amalgama tecnológica que recoge alusiones de la religión, punk, esoterismo, sadomasoquismo y mitología.
Esta obra es revisada por su autor y aumentada en la inclusión de nuevos personajes.

Jorge Baradit (Valparaíso, 1969). Author of the novels Ygdrasil, Trinidad, Synco, Kalfukura, Policía del karma and Lluscuma ; and the short story book La guerra interior. To complement his work, he has experimented on different platforms, including radio interventions and narrations on social networks and television. It is in these places where he channeled his interest in the B side of the country's history and those unknown aspects capable of redefining our collective memory: issues that were the seed of the trilogy Historia Secreta de Chile (2015, 2016 and 2017) and its continuation La dictadura (2018) and Héroes (2019), an unprecedented editorial phenomenon in the national market.
