Synopsis "Zygomatische Implantate zur Rehabilitation des Atrophischen Oberkiefers (in German)"

Zygomatic-Implantate sind fortschrittliche Zahnimplantate, die für Patienten mit starker Resorption des Oberkiefers bestimmt sind. Diese Implantate dienen als Ersatz für herkömmliche Implantate. Diese transplantatfreie Technik, die auch als Zygoma-Technik bekannt ist, wurde von Prof. Per Ingvar Branemark eingeführt. Die Zygoma-Implantate werden in den Jochbeinknochen eingesetzt, um Oberkieferzähne, Brücken und Prothesen zu tragen. Jochbeinimplantate sind bei vollständig zahnlosen Personen mit schwerer Kieferatrophie indiziert. Diese Implantate können auch mit axialen Implantaten kombiniert werden. Jochbeinimplantate sind in Längen von 30 bis 52,5 mm erhältlich. Der Kopf des Jochbeinimplantats ist so konstruiert, dass die Prothese in einem Winkel von 45 Grad zur Längsachse des Implantats befestigt werden kann. Diese Implantate können auch bei Patienten eingesetzt werden, deren Zähne aufgrund von Krankheiten wie einer generalisierten aggressiven Parodontitis beweglich sind. Die Erfolgsquote von Jochbeinimplantaten liegt weltweit bei 97-98 %.
