Carmen Romero Lorenzo
Carmen Romero Lorenzo, born in Seville in 1993, is a writer and translator specialized in fantasy literature. She studied Humanities and Translation and Interpretation at Pablo de Olavide University and currently resides in Madrid, where she combines writing with literary translation. Her work is characterized by a strong influence of folklore, mythology, and classical culture, with a feminist and queer focus.
Among her most notable works are At the Foot of the Palace (2016), a feminist reinterpretation of the Cinderella tale, Rites of Spring (2023), a fantasy novel with Arthurian and Celtic elements, and Queen of Summer (2025). Additionally, she has participated in various anthologies, such as Hallucinated III and V, and collaborated in the creation of the drama Clytemnestra Chained for the company Furor Bacchicus.
