Coriant Paguel
Coriant Paguel is the literary pseudonym of Victoria Roldán, a young Spanish author born in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla. At the age of 19, she published her first novel, For a Crown of Hearts, a reinterpretation of Alice in Wonderland that blends fantasy, magic, and romance. The work was released in February 2025 by Ediciones Martínez Roca, a publishing imprint of Grupo Planeta.
From a young age, Victoria showed an interest in writing, creating stories and comics. At 12-13 years old, she began to take writing seriously, developing projects that, although not always finished, helped her improve and learn. Her passion for books and writing led her to share her work and advice on social media, where she has accumulated almost 40,000 followers.
Besides her literary side, Victoria studies a higher degree in Pathological Anatomy and Cytopathology. Although she already has ideas for future projects, she follows a personal rule: not to start a new one until she has completely finished the previous one, ensuring that each story receives the attention it deserves.
