Doctora de la Puerta

I am Dr. Mª Dolores de la Puerta. I initially trained as a plastic surgeon, but personal circumstances led me to explore the wonderful world of gut microbiota around the year 2000.

Gradually, I evolved my clinical practice, focusing on treating patients with a multitude of pathologies associated with intestinal dysbiosis in my consultations, and this is what I do and dedicate myself to currently.

I have not stopped studying and researching since then, evolving the approach to my patients and applying to clinical practice what I discover every day. It is with them and from them, with whom I have learned the most and they are the ones who encourage and motivate me to continue doing so.
